Shanta Ndowah Sih

Shanta Ndowah Sih  popularly known as (Shantal Macs) holds  a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the university of Buea in 2018. She has worked with several media houses since 2015 till date (Chillen Media TV Buea,  HITV Buea, Sky sports radio Bamenda, Dream Fm radio Buea. She served as manager of a media company (Josu Media) in 2022 and  presently works as a reporter and content creator with Cameroon News Agency, an online media organization. She obtained a masters degree in Applied Linguistics University of Bamenda in 2021 and served as interpreter at the Regional Delegation of public Health in the Northwest during the 2020 malaria campaign penetrating remote villages for mosquito net distribution and sensitisation. She is privileged to be a cohort 8 fellow  of the #defyahtenow  African Factchecking Fellowship, a program that will give her fact checking skills and tools to verify online information.
