Mbuh Stella, Journalist

My name is Mbuh Stella, a Cameroonian based in Bamenda. I am a video editor, with passion for editing Gospel music, documentaries and reporting rights violations. Presently I’m one of the less than 4 journalists in Bamenda who dare other divisions of the North West to report on the Anglophone Crisis. My passion in reporting for positive change keeps me going.

My bravery has been recognised by CAMACA via an award in August 2020. She  is Communication Officer for the United Youths Organization, an organization committed in combating violent extremism and hate speech by promoting peace. We currently run a campaign #Engage4PeaceFestival which aims at having a less violent and hate free society. I have joined several online campaigns against hate Speech amongst others.

When I am not not working, I am reading and watching mainly investigative works of other journalists. Currently I works as the North West Regional correspondent for Equinoxe television in Cameroon and am proudly an Africa Fact-checking Fellowship- #AFFCameroon Fellow. Twitter @MbuhStella.
