Journalist

MBIYBE Lisa Bongfen was born on the 14th of December 1999 in Kumbo, North West Region of Cameroon. She is a graduate of the Advanced School of Mass Communication in Yaoundé in Journalism. She volunteered at Cameroon’s Radio and Television (CRTV North West) for one year. In the course of her volunteering, she got a job with Aftv5, a non-profit video production organization with a social focus based in the United States of America. Passionate about journalism, print Media, Cyber journalism, or audiovisual, she believes in the power of speech and she also believes that she can use an ordinary pen and a microphone to impact lives. Her constant quest for learning has pushed her to apply for fellowships and training that would nourish her passion already in her to help her society, especially in times of conflict and war. She believes that the Africa Fa ctchecking Fellowship will help her and give her the push in impacting lives both online and offline.
