Lawong Kendra Yaah

Lawong Kendra Yaah is a peace trainer, peace education advocate, online safety advocate and public speaker. Her strategy in realizing safety online considers capacity building modules and advocacy in the areas of peace and justice, moral ethics on social media, inclusion and peace education. While pursuing a PhD in the University of Bamenda, Lawong believes that good communication and public speaking helps in combating social media ills. It is a pleasure for her to be a cohort 8 fellow of the #defyhatenow program #AFFCameroon which helps in fighting online and offline fake news for the promotion of peace in our communities.
