Giyo Ndzi, Journalist/Blogger

Giyo Ndzi is a young, motivated and selfless pressman. Also a blogger, content creator and public speaker, his knack for information gathering, treatment and dissemination have been instrumental in his journalism career.

Currently based in Yaounde, he is youngest ever Desk Editor at Cameroon’s lone English Language Daily newspaper, The Guardian Post, a feat he attained after barely three years at the media organ.

A graduate from the University of Buea’s prestigious Journalism and Mass Communication department (JMC), he is currently in the final phase of a Master’s Degree programme in Conflict Resolution at the same institution.

In addition to his full-time job as a reporter, journalist, blogger and sometimes a freelancer, he is engaged in other initiatives targeted at impacting his community and nation as a whole positively. These include but are not limited to the Cameroon Debate Circuit, Words Bridge Public Speaking initiative, and the Cameroon Association of English-Speaking Journalists, CAMASEJ. He also takes pleasure in writing as well as social media activism.
