VictoryMarshal Ayafor Basang is a reporter and in charge of Communication and Public Relations at the North West Regional Assembly. She is passionate about  reporting on peace building, youth and women empowerment, education, good governance, and human interest stories.

VictoryMarshal is assertive, creative and has demonstrable skills in Public Relations peoples management skills. She has impeccable eloquence and oratory skills, conceptual, Innovative, evaluative and strong ability to assess issues with a remarkable team and learning spirits. Her work experience as communicator and Public Relations Officer makes her interact with people daily both physically and online and that has helped her better understand issues affecting the role of digital media in storytelling, healing, and peace-building. She is a fellow of the African fact-checking Fellowship of #defyhatenow. She will gain factcheck skills that will help her contribute in debunking fake news both online and offline.
