Regina Liengu Etaka is creative and immensely talented journalist with a commitment to high-quality research and writing. With a confirmed history of achievement in the journalism industry with about 15 years of professional experience, keenness to reporting gender issues and passion about promoting women’s right. Regina has excellent reporting and interviewing skills and award-winning writing techniques across a variety of platforms, including print, radio, online and social media.
As a journalist, I write for the lone Cameroon Bilingual Daily Newspaper, Cameroon Tribune, and other publications of SOPECAM including “Nyanga” and “Weekend” magazines. I am a woman peace builder and a certified trainer in peace journalism and conflict transformation. I am the Littoral regional Coordinator of the Cameroon Community Media Network – CCMN which is a network of Media professionals and Civil Society Organisations aimed at promoting peace in our society. I am also the founder and CEO of Bringing Hearts Together Organisation that is out to improve on the livelihood of the downtrodden in the society especially women as well as work towards the promotion of peace.
