Ticha Bizel-Bi Mafor is a journalist and Communicator. She holds an MSc and BSc in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea. She has been in the field of Communication for about six years and she is the Station Manager of Radio Health International in Yaounde and Head of Development and Training at the Camer Today. Before her appointment, she served as a Journalist at Royal FM and then as a City Reporter for The Guardian Post newspaper based in Yaounde. She has gathered experience in print, audio, and audio-visual journalism. She believes there is a lot of misinformation surrounding health communication so she enrolled in programs of #defyhatenow.org like the Africa Fact-checking Fellowship to build her professional career and better inform the masses on health matters. She is grateful to have been selected as a cohort 10 fellow of #AFFCameroon. She believes the skills she will acquire will be a plus to her work as a journalist and communicator.
