Usmanu Abubakar is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Buea, Cameroon, specializing in Conflict Resolution. He holds an MSc in Political Science from the University of Dschang and has over five years of experience in teaching, research, peacebuilding, and community engagement. His research interests include peace and conflict studies, governance, social cohesion, political representation, and conflict resolution. He has contributed to academic research and publications on peacebuilding, democratization, and social cohesion in Cameroon. Usmanu is also actively involved in community development and youth engagement. Through his academic and professional work, he is committed to promoting evidence-based research, responsible information sharing, and fact-checking as essential tools for strengthening informed communities and peaceful societies.
