She was one of the winners of the World NTD Day Story Telling Competition in the audio category, organized by Youths Combating NTDs ( Neglected\u00a0 tropical diseases), African women in media AWIM labour migration Media Award In the gender Migration category (Collaborated with another journalist) and another national journalism competition Entitled, \u201cCoronavirus and its impact on children,\u201d where I was one of the winners in the\u00a0 radio Category.<\/p>\n<p>Having volunteered with the State Broadcaster&#8217;s regional Stations, Crtv littoral and Crtv Far North, she showed her passion for Humanitarian Journalism that permitted her to cover the Boko Haram Crisis and issues affecting women and girls.<\/p>\n<p>Dorcas is also a member of the Association of female journalists in Cameroon &#8211; AFMEC and\u00a0 she contributes to the radio program \u201cCalling the Women\u201d over CRTV&#8217;s national Station. As a gender Advocate committed to creating a world in which women thrive, Dorcas Ekupe also encourages girls to be trail blazers in their communities.
