Pechuqui Laurata

Pechuqui Laurata holds a BSc in Communication and Development Studies at the University of Bamenda. She has been practicing journalism for the past two years as a volunteer at CBS Radio Bamenda.

There she reported sports  and assisted in the production of other programs and news. She also reports for blogs like Safeguard.info. She is presently a fellow of the #defyhatenow African Fact-checking fellowship cohort 7 where she will gain Fact Checking skills in order to fight against hate speech, Fakenews, misinformation and disinformation online and offline.
