Munyoh Jude Mbaku

Journalist

Munyoh Jude Mbaku is a 32-year-old journalist based in Buea, South West Cameroon.  He is currently serving the 8th year of his professional practice in gathering, treating, and disseminating  News as the editor-in-chief at Divine Mercy Radio Television, DMRTV of the Diocese of Buea. He worked at Mirror Radio-Tv Akwa Douala, CBS Radio Bamenda, Radio Hot Cocoa Bamenda, and LTM Douala. One-time Communications officer at HIBMAT University Institute of Buea, HUIB. He has attended several workshops and seminars on journalism-related topics like fake news, crisis reporting, election reporting, and more. Mbaku has been running an online news blog called STANDARD MIRROR  (https://guru.news.blog/)  since 2018 where he publishes news stories and is also the secretary General of the Cameroon Association of English-speaking Journalists, CAMASEJ Buea. He is currently a fellow of the Africa Fact Checking Fellowship cohort 9. He wishes to know more about fact checking and be able to identify fake information online.
