Eyongeta Eyong is a holder of a BSc in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea and is based in the Southwest Region Buea, Cameroon. He is currently the Southwest Bureau Chief for Municipal Updates Newspaper for the past 3 years. He volunteered for The Post Newspaper in 2021. He is a researcher and has assisted in some publications. He has attended a number of workshops where he gained skills in Fact Checking information, understanding cybercrimes for effective reporting, Investigative Reporting Workshop, Role of Media in promoting Human Rights, Reporting in times of crisis, Reporting illicit Financial Flows. Joining the Africa Fact Checking family is a plus for him to boost his skills in information verification and become an expert factcheker.
