Derrick Afumbom Awoh is a first degree holder in communication and development studies. She has been a volunteer reporter and présenter at the university of Bamenda Campus radio and currently writes for the UBaVoice newspaper. He serves as a volunteer development communicator at Xhuma Africa and a social media manager for Harvest Children’s Home. He has over the years gained experience in print, radio and audio visual reporting. He has served as the public relations officer for the faculty of Arts in the university of Bamenda and currently, a master’s prospect in communication and development studies in the university of Bamenda. He is so delighted to have been selected to pass through this enriching training. He is currently a Fellow of the Africa Fact-Checking Fellowship and looks forward to acquiring fact checking skills.
